When one is not in the server co-location as yet, getting server at low cost gets very important. I have managed to put together a list of low cost dedicated server providers, If you can comments on the ones in the list or add new ones, it will be great.

Difficult to find low cost servers here in Singapore because good international bandwidth is quite expensive here compared to Europe or US.

Yes, this is correct. I would initially tend to think that servers from Singapore should be cheaper compared with USA, but found it other way round.

You can always look for cheap US dedicated servers at the west coast (e.g. california) if you want a cheap server for Asian audience.

sometime, LA server doesn't really mean good connection to Asia. It really depend on which bandwidth carrier also.

Its well known that Singapore servers are really expensive, as an alternative you can try a location such as Hongkong or Malaysia which has faster pings to Singapore

I don't agree, if you compare the bandwidth and cost between Singapore and Hong Kong server, Singapore will be much cheaper. And Singapore Server International connection will be better than Hong Kong, as most people opt for HK server is mainly becuase their target market is within China, mainland.
